After Uncle Gabe's we went to the Royal Mausoleum. This is where all of the Ali'i (Royalty) of Hawaii is buried. We learned the first King Kamehameha is not buried there. After the King passed away, two people who were trustworthy took his body and hid his bones on the Big Island of Hawaii in a cave somewhere. To this day, no one knows where his bones are. They hid the bones of the King because it is believed that the bones of the Ali'i possess their power. They didn't want an enemy to steal the bones, thus stealing the family's power.
